P-2 Semiotic Advertisement

Design Brief


Project: Create social media ads advertising a thermos.

Sender: Liska. A mid-sized company, based in Salt Lake City. Sold mostly to people in the Rocky Mountains.

Message: "Your drinks will stay warm in our durable thermoses."

Audience20 and early 30 year olds who enjoy camping, the outdoors, and plain ole' hot coffee.

Objective: Sell thermoses to outdoor enthusiast.

Response: People buy the thermoses with the feeling that the product is both high-quality and stylish. The audience will like the product's performance and appearance enough to share it on social media.

Summary Design Statement: 
Liska is aimed for west coast adventurers. The thermoses main focus is that they're durability and long lasting. What makes them different is their assortment of colors. While competitors are mainly greens, blues, or grays, Liska makes thermoses in bright colors that are fun and difficult to lose. Liska's designs their thermoses to be clean, vibrant, and sturdy.
